Meeting up with the Walkers

These is now old news but right after Christmas we met up with the Walkers in Orlando. The original intent was to also meet up with the Millers but poor-nine-months-pregnant-Brandy had the flu! Anyway, here are some pictures of all the kids.

One week later ...

...it's a success! Eben said good-bye to diapers this past week without incident (or accident!). He's done an awesome job and is now napping without a diaper and keeping his night-time diaper dry too. So, two down and one more to go! Only two more years of diapers!! Woo-hoo!

Potty Training Begins!

On Monday Eben and I will start with potty training. With two boys in diapers now, I am sooooo excited to have Eben using the potty. Right now, I feel like we shouldn't have a very hard time. When he's naked, Eben always pees in the potty without accident. This has been going on for months now, we've just waited until now because of the thousands of big transitions we've had in our lives over the last few months. Our biggest hurdles will be going #2 in the potty - unchartered territory thus far; and, remembering to use the potty even when he has clothes on. Back when Scott's mom was here in late-September, she bought him some underwear and although he was accident-free while naked, he peed over and over again in his underwear. So, wish us luck and I'm sure I'll be back soon with updates and (hopefully!) cute pictures of Eben in underwear!

No Internet ... What to do??

I've been silent for a while because we are currently without internet. Ugh! But, tomorrow (Friday) we have an "all day" appointment with the cable company (meaning I have to stay home all day to wait for them to come for 15 minutes and hook things up!) . So, pretty soon we should be up and running and I'll be posting again.

Our Family Photographer

We're fortunate enough to have a photographer in the family, my brother's wife, Lindsay. She's photographed us before and we were excited to have her take some shots of the kids while we were in Orlando together. These are some of my faves!

Beautiful Pictures of the Kids!

A Florida Happy New Year

Last night we welcomed 2007 with Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest (on TV). We were missing the opportunity to put on a coat, hat and scarf like everyone in Times Square. Instead, we are at my parents house in Orlando - we had the porch doors wide open.

2006 was big for us - a graduation, a new job, big move and new baby to name a few!

We'll be heading back to Mississippi tomorrow. We've extended our trip a bit because we are still waiting on the gas to be turned on in our house. But, it's been a great trip. All my siblings (and their spouses) were here, a first in a long time. We've done a lot of much needed relaxing.

Plus, Tyler got to take her first trip to Magic Kingdom! On Saturday my parents took her to Disney World. We have a rule that you have to be five years old before you can go so soon after her fifth birthday she called my parents to be sure they remembered their promise to take her. Of course she loved it. They hit all the old favorites and when I asked her what was her favorite thing she first said Cinderella's Castle, then the parade and then just said, "Everything!"

Well, Tate has his first cold and is crying for some attention so I'll run. Happy New Year everyone! We miss you all!
